We’ll hear from key speakers who not only design but deliver our aural experience of the spaces we inhabit and how research shows this is an essential part of any customer experience strategy. Leading innovators in the field will explore the economic value of music in a place for property developers and furthermore how it ensures strategic economic growth in urban environments and cities.

Experience Makers took to the Croisette to join our Founder Partners BNP Paribas Real Estate for a special sunset drinks reception at the 30th edition of MIPIM. We were joined by guests from across the sector for drinks hosted on the terrace of BNP Paribas Real Estate’s beachside marquee. The reception marked the one year anniversary of our launch at MIPIM 2018 and saw us celebrate our achievements and our growing community whilst continuing to champion experience making across the property industry.
Our guests heard from Laurent Pavillon, BNP Paribas Real Estate's Global Head of Business Marketing and Communications, about their approach to experience making and why it’s crucial to their strategies. As our first Founder Partner, they also shared their reasons for being pioneers in joining our network as well as current examples of experience making across their international portfolio.
Experience Makers Founder Partners Lunch

Our nine Experience Makers Founder Partners came together for a working lunch to develop the Experience Makers Business Plan for 2019. In the beautiful surrounds of St Pancras station, we presented our plan for activity in 2019 that was developed in collaboration with our members. The lunch provided an exciting start to the year and an opportunity for our members to come together and buy in to our ambition plans for the year ahead.
Experience Makers Christmas Drinks

Our Experience Makers Founder Partners and friends from our growing community came together at experiential cocktail bar Archer Street to raise a glass and toast the end of our first year. Our guests were able to meet and network with other experience makers, share ideas and setup potential collaborations.
Experience Makers Innovate Academy 2018

Venue: Central Saint Martins, King’s Cross, London
Our first collaboration with Central Saint Martins saw leading figures from across the property industry come together for a day of learning hosted by academics from the Spatial Practices Programme. Our guests heard from leading practitioners working in the design of cities, urban environments, museums and heritage sites, engaged in practical activities and sometimes heated debate and were challenged as to how they could implement these theoretical approaches within their day-to-day roles. Experience Makers Live: King’s Cross

Our first Experience Makers Live event saw our guests visit St Pancras International and King’s Cross for a tour with Wendy Spinks, Commercial Director of HS1 before proceeding to Global Generation’s Skip Garden. We heard about Urban Partners, the business partnership for King’s Cross, Euston and St Pancras before Nicole Van den Eijnde, Director of Global Generation described how the Garden came to be as our guests enjoyed drinks and food. Experience Makers Goes Live

Venue: Aures London, Leake Street Arches
Following our initial launch at MIPIM, Experience Makers officially went live in May at immersive events space Aures London, situated in the atmospheric Leake Street Arches graffiti tunnel under Waterloo station. We were joined by over 100 of our colleagues and peers from businesses ranging from property owners, managers, professional firms and proptech companies to placemaking agencies and restaurateurs.
